Hand Stripping is a technique that requires pulling out the dead hair that sits on top of the coat which leaves more of a natural look.

This type of groom does not hurt the dog as you are simply pulling out dead hair that is ready to come out. There are huge benefits for your dog's coat such as leaving it at its brightest colour and softest texture, it also means they can go longer between being groomed which could save money in the long run.

Ideal for dogs with wire coats, I would always advise to pull the dead hair instead of clipping it,

It is important to introduce your puppy to the grooming world as soon as possible. To create the most positive experience for your little fur baby I offer two services. First bringing them in for a puppy pamper which is a gentle bath and blow dry to eventually introduce the full groom in two smaller sessions.

Puppy Pamper

I meet, greet and play with your pup before washing with a nice warm bath and giving them a relaxing massage with the shampoo. Then introducing and drying them at the lowest and quietest dryer settings. Finishing off with puppy treats and a gentle brush using detangle treatments and sprays if necessary

Full Puppy Groom

This will be their first full groom requiring whichever services is suited from the above full groom choices but it will be done in 2 sessions to ensure stress levels are kept at minimum for the least amount of time enforcing more of a positive experience of grooming for your pup.

The first session starts as a puppy pamper and finishes with the basics which is nail trim, pad trim and clipping all hygiene areas

The second session, your beloved pup will come straight to the table and after a very brief brush and blow dry to re-prep the coat (if needed) the groom service begins
